Hello, Friends Welcome To Appliance Tech Pro, in This Post, We Are Going To Tell You About An Awesome Thing. So, Let’s Know What Experts Are Saying About how to how to fix dishwasher smells

Step #1 Dirty Dishwasher Gasket Seal

The gasket/seal of your dishwasher should be the first place to look for a nasty smell. The seal can become clogged with grime and food over time, causing the dishwasher to smell.

Step #2 Check Dishwasher Filter

The dishwasher strainer is an important part of the draining process. The water goes through the filter as it exits the dishwashing compartment. Food particles can accumulate in the filter over time and begin to degrade, which is the most common cause of dishwashing odors. To reach the drain filter, remove the bottom rack of your dishwasher. Wipe the drain filter clean with a sponge and warm, soapy water.

Step #3 Check Garbage Disposals

It’s possible that the drain pipe from your dishwasher is linked straight to your waste disposal. Like your dishwasher, they’re connected to the same central pipe. When you use your garbage disposal properly, particles from the disposal can flow back up the dishwasher drain line. If the dishwasher stink is coming from the garbage disposal, you’ll be able to tell immediately away by disconnecting the hose from the disposal.

Step #4 Clean with Vinegar and Baking Soda

It’s possible that the inside of the dishwasher smells fishy even after you’ve cleaned the filter. Mix baking soda, dish soap, and water to make a simple paste. Scrub the inside of the dishwashing machine well with the mixture. The machine’s gaskets, shelves, and walls should all be cleaned.

Step # 5 Check Dishwasher Air Dry

Water remaining in your washer after the cycle can produce an unpleasant stench. After you’ve finished washing the dishes, open the door and let the dish machine air out.
